Umesh Shukla wants to make socially relevant film with SANJAY DUTT

National Award winning director Umesh Shukla is working on a socially-relevant film that he wants to make with Sanjay Dutt. "I have a story idea for Sanjay Dutt. He suits the role; hence we would want him to be part of the film. When he comes back, I will narrate it to him. I have narrated it to Manyata and she liked it. I am hopeful he will like the idea," he said. Dutt was sentenced to five years imprisonment by a TADA court. "It's a socially relevant film with elements of drama, comedy, action, romance. Sanjay will be playing the lead role," Shukla said. "Besides Dutt, there will be other actors as well. We plan to rope-in some theatre actors for the film," he added.
