Singer Akhi Alamgir has recently become a part of the fashion-designing world by launching the fashion house, Makhmal. Akhi Alamgir said, "My love and passion for designing clothes began during my childhood. As an adult, I would often receive compliments on clothes that I designed, especially sarees, and many people wanted to wear the kind of sarees that I wore. So, I decided it was time to express my skill and make my debut as a designer. Chiffon, silk, georgette, and muslin sarees are the speciality of the fashion house, which will run online for now."
