The successful Indian director Srijit Mukherji has began his latest project, a film on the Bhawal Sanyasi Case of olden Bangladesh. Moreover, Jaya Ahsan has been chosen to play the role of the lead female character. Named Bhawal Sanyasi after the name of the storied case, the film will be shot at Bhawal Rajbari situated at Joydebpur, Gazipur. "I have already talked to Jaya about this and she has agreed, though there is some scheduling problem we need to take care of," said Srijit Mukherji. "We have planned to begin shooting at January, though it might be extended to December as well," he further added. "This film has a historical appeal to it, I am interested in working in it," was what Jaya said regarding this news.
