Amazon Web Services will create 50,000 AWS experts in Bangladesh in collaboration with DIPTI
Amazon Web Services (AWS) will create 50,000 AWS experts by training young talented IT lovers in Bangladesh in collaboration with Daffodil International Professional Training Institute (DIPTI). For the first time in Bangladesh, Daffodil International University (DIU) and Daffodil International Professional Training Institute (DIPTI) jointly organized Amazon Web Services Cloud Day 2023 in Dhaka on June 17 under the direct supervision of 10 experts in collaboration with AWS.
In view of the thousands of applications this time and due to the continued demand, the authorities will organise Amazon Web Services Cloud Day every year and plan to organize another program at the end of this year for those who did not get the opportunity to participate.
Through this groundbreaking event, Daffodil will play an important role in creating job opportunities for the technology-loving youth of Bangladesh. The Daffodil family will take advantage of the opportunities that AWS has to build skilled human resources around the world.
The Daffodil family is keen to integrate AWS into the education system of Bangladesh and embed AWS in the course curriculum and DIPTI and Daffodil family will conduct the training of AWS in Bangladesh.
DIPTI, with the support of Daffodil International University, has taken this initiative to promote AWS Cloud Services in Bangladesh and introduce the power and technology capabilities of AWS Cloud Services to a wider audience in Bangladesh. AWS is committed to revolutionise Bangladesh's technology sector by training 50,000 technology enthusiasts for employment through AWS cloud services.
Shyam Sundar Sikdar, Chairman of Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission graced the opening ceremony of AWS Cloud Day 2023 as the chief guest. Mohammad Mahdi-Uz Zaman, Leader, Solution Architecture, Startups, AWS, presented the keynote at the event. Dr Md. Sabur Khan, Founder and Chairman of Daffodil International University, Mohammad Nuruzzaman, Chief Executive Officer, Daffodil Family, Russel T Ahmed, President, BASIS, Amit Meheta, Head of Rtraining and Certificate, AWS, A K MA Hamid, President, Institute of Diploma Engineers, Bangladesh, also spoke at the opening ceremony of the event. Md. Samsul Arefin, Secretary of ICT Division was present as the chief guest in the closing ceremony of the event.
The main objective of the day-long event was hands-on workshops, building cloud-native applications and machine learning, as well as providing participants with insight into the recipe for building the next generation of unicorn startups, and various sessions to learn about Amazon Web Services' career program conducted by internationally and locally recognized AWS professionals/trainers
Besides, various events to inform about AWS career program and network with IT entrepreneurs, students, teachers, educators and practitioners from all over Bangladesh with subject matter experts, national leaders, teachers and cloud enthusiasts.
AWS Cloud Day Bangladesh 2023 is a highly anticipated event that brought together entrepreneurs, students, teachers, academics and practitioners. Three parallel tracks are conducted in the event namely Technical Track, Business Track, and Career Track.
