President, PM visit Quader
President Abdul Hamid and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina visited Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader, now undergoing treatment at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University, this afternoon.
Quader was diagnosed with three blockages in coronary artery and shifted to the Coronary Care Unit (CCU) of the BSMMU.

PM Sheikh Hasina, also president of ruling AL, reached the BSMMU around 3:30pm and passed some time besides ailing Quader, reports the Bangla daily Prothom Alo.
Later, President Abdul Hamid also visited Quader at the hospital around 4:30pm, our staff correspondent reports from the spot.
Quader, also Road, Transport and Bridges Minister, complained of breathing problem after Fazr prayers and then was taken to the BSMMU, Abu Naser, senior public relations officer of Roads and Highways Division, told The Daily Star.
Immediately after his admission, he was shifted to the Coronary Care Unit (CCU) of the hospital, he said.
“Quader is not out of danger yet. So, it is not possible to shift him right now,” said Prof Syed Ali Ahsan, chairman of the cardiology department of BSMMU.
Parliament’s Speaker Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury and Quader’s wife Ishratunesa Quader also visited Quader at the hospital.
On information, senior leaders of the ruling Awami League, its alliance leaders and many cabinet colleagues visited Quader.
Besides, a number of workers and supporters of the party thronged the BSMMU to know the update health condition of the Awami League leader.
