Polls without BNP won’t be easier: Fakhrul
The government will not be able to hold the next general election easily keeping BNP aside from the process, Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, the party’s secretary general, said today.
“Holding of the next general election without BNP will not be easier for the government though it has arranged a one-sided election earlier,” he told reporters at the party’s Nayapaltan central office in Dhaka this afternoon.
Earlier, top leaders of the newly elected committee of Dhaka city’s north and south units called on Fakhrul and discussed several issues including prevailing political situation.
