People to decide on BNP's vision: Nasim
Health and Family Welfare Minister Mohammad Nasim today said the mass people will decide whether they would accept or not the BNP's 'Vision 2030'.
"BNP has declared its 'Vision-2030'. It is good that they will come in election. We congratulate them. But the mass people will decide which 'Vision' would be accepted," he said addressing a function at Osmani Memorial auditorium in Dhaka.
Directorate General of Nurses and Midwifery organised the meeting marking the International Nurse Day.
Additional Secretary of the Health Ministry Harun-or-Rashid presided over the meeting while Director General of Health Services Professor Dr Abul Kalam Azad, Additional Secretary (Nursing and Midwifery) of the ministry Subhash Chandra Sarker, Director General of Directorate General of Nurses and Midwifery Tandhra Shikdar, among others, addressed it.
Nasim, also a presidium member of the ruling party, said none would be benefited by muddling water over the election.
"Every party has the right to take part in election as it is the main mode to assess their popularity," he said, adding the next election will be held as per the constitution.
Urging nurses to give better services to patients, Nasim said a nurse is as like a mother and a sister to a patient. "So, you will have to give better services," he added.
