The meeting between Hasina and Jaishankar came just ahead of her delegation-level talks with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The Hasina-Modi talks will mainly focus on bilateral relations after which the two countries are likely to sign six to seven MoUs in areas of connectivity, capacity-building and culture sectors, Kumar told reporters yesterday.
Hasina is now in India on a four-day official visit.
