China Communist Party leaders to meet Khaleda today

A delegation of the visiting Communist Party of China (CPC) will hold a meeting with BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia today.

The CPC delegation led by Wang Yajun, assistant minister of IDCPC, will call on the BNP chief and former prime minister at her Gulshan office at 6:30pm, said Syrul Kabir Khan, an official of Khaleda’s press wing told The Daily Star.

He also said that senior leaders of the party including party’s secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir will accompany Khaleda during the talks.

Earlier, a BNP delegation led by Fakhrul went China to attend a conference there at the invitation of the Chinese Communist Party.
