Miscreants set fire to a shuttle train of Chittagong University at Sholoshohor railway station in Chittagong this evening.
A youth, Sumon, 18, was injured as the miscreants also blasted several crude bombs at the station, said Ekram Hossain, a sub-inspector of Panchlaish Police Station.
A group of unidentified miscreants set fire to a carriage of the train standing at the station around 8:00pm, the police official told our Chittagong correspondent.
No one was detained in this connection.
The incident took place hours after the BNP-led 20-party alliance enforced a fresh spell of 72-hour hartal from Sunday morning to press home their demands for general elections under a nonparty administration.
