Call for submission for IIMCAA,B Media Award 2020

Indian Institute of Mass Communication Alumni Association, Bangladesh (IIMCAA,B) is working to facilitate information exchange and professional networking of IIMC alumni. One of the major activities of the association is to confer awards to recognise the talented media professionals of Bangladesh and encourage others to produce quality reports and features. Towards that aim, the association is announcing “IIMCAA,B Media Award 2020”, says a press release.

This year, awards will be given for the best report, feature or analysis published in Bangla and English language relating to having impact on Bangladesh-India bilateral relationship.

The award will be given in three categories: print media (daily newspapers -- national, regional and local), electronic media (television channels and radios) and online news portals (independent news sites as well as sites of newspapers and electronic media)

Reports, features or analysis relating to Bangladesh-India bilateral relationship, published or broadcast from January 1 to December 31, 2019 will be eligible.

Hard copies of the reports for print media, video/audio of the TV/radio and printouts/digital contents of online news portals along with a letter of introduction from chief news editor or chief reporter must be submitted to M Zahid Newaz Khan, General Secretary, IIMCAA Bangladesh on 80 Gulshan Avenue (5th floor), Dhaka. Deadline for submission is February 29.
