Presidency University inaugurates Admission Fest for Spring 2026

Presidency University has inaugurated its “Admission Fest, Spring 2026”, formally launching the admission campaign for the upcoming academic session.

The inauguration ceremony was held at the university campus at 11:00am on Tuesday, marking the start of a two-week-long festival aimed at prospective students seeking admission for the new academic year.

Professor Dr Md Anwarul Kabir, principal adviser to the Board of Trustees of Presidency University, inaugurated the Admission Fest as the chief guest by cutting the ribbon.

Also present at the programme were Registrar Md Sakir Hossain; Dean of the School of Engineering Professor Dr Shahidul Islam Khan; Dean of the School of Business Professor Abul Kalam; Dean of the School of Law Professor Mohammad Azharul Islam; Controller of Examinations Mohammad Jahedur Rahman; Director of Student Affairs and Administration Afroza Helen; Proctor Md Anisur Rahman; and Deputy Director and Head of the Admission and Public Relations Department Jahid Hasan. Chairpersons of various departments, faculty members, officers, staff and students were also in attendance.

As part of the Admission Fest, the university is offering a 75 percent waiver on admission fees and a special 10 percent tuition fee scholarship. Merit-based scholarships of up to 100 percent are also available for eligible students.

Newly admitted students will receive complimentary items, including a university-branded bag, a hoodie and a gift box.

During the Admission Fest, prospective students will have access to information-based guidance, as well as academic and career counselling, to support informed decisions about higher education.

Established more than 22 years ago, Presidency University said it continues to focus on research and career-oriented learning. The university highlighted its fully digitalised classrooms, modern laboratories, high-speed internet connectivity, dedicated student spaces and a resource-rich library as part of its efforts to prepare graduates for local and global careers.
