JCI Dhaka Sparks elects Raihan Ahmed Dip as president for 2026
Junior Chamber International (JCI) Dhaka Sparks has elected Raihan Ahmed Dip as its Local President for the 2026 administrative year.
The election took place during the organisation’s 2025 General Assembly and Election Meeting on January 9 at The Ascott Palace in Dhaka.
The session reviewed activities from the previous year and elected the new executive board. The election was conducted by the 2025 Immediate Past Local President and Election Commissioner, Sumaya Mahmud Sharna, in line with JCI constitutional bylaws and its Election Policy. Members elected the board through acclamation after quorum was confirmed.
Tajdin Hassan, Chief Business Officer of The Daily Star, and Shuvasish Bhowmick attended the programme as guests.
The incoming 2026 National President of JCI Bangladesh, Arefeen Raafi Ahmed, congratulated the new board through a video message from the United States.
Outgoing Local President Shaiful Islam Akash administered the oath to the newly elected board. Crests were presented to the 2025 board members, advisors and guests.
