Seven alleged robbers have been arrested in Noakhali, local Coast Guards have claimed.
They were arrested in a drive at Bridgebazar area of Hatia, says a press release. After a fight, seven robbers were detained. Two coast guard members were injured.
For all latest news, follow The Daily Star's Google News channel. Six local arms, 10 round of bullets, five machetes, three mobile phones and Tk 11,000 were seized from them. The “robbers” have been handed over to local police.
