'How many Hasnats will you kill?,' asks Sarjis

Sarjis Alam, general secretary of July Shaheed Smriti Foundation, in a Facebook post said that another attempt was made to kill Hasnat.
A car carrying Hasnat Abdullah, convener of the anti-discrimination student movement, was hit by a pick-up van in Dhaka's Jatrabari this morning.
He said, "Last night I returned to Dhaka from Chattogram in another car. On the way I have dropped off Hasnat at his home in Cumilla. Now I hear that on the way to Dhaka from Cumilla in the morning, another attempt was made to run over Hasnat's car from behind with another vehicle!"
"How many more conspiracies are there? How many Hasnats will you kill?," the post continued.
Sarjis, a key organiser of the anti-discrimination student movement, recalled the days when they were protesting on the streets and stated that during the uprising, the protesters did not fear death. "They did not turn back," he added.
He ended the post with, "We have learned to die."
Last night, a car in a convoy of vehicles carrying Hasnat Abdullah and Sarjis Alam was involved in a collision with a truck when they were on their way back from Chattogram.
