Padma Bridge toll plaza tilts after bus hits booth

Toll collection at toll-booth no 2 at the Mawa-end of Padma Bridge was halted as the toll plaza tilted after it was hit by a bus.

Police have seized the south-bound Shariatpur Paribahan bus, our Munshiganj correspondent reports quoting Officer-in-Charge of Padma Bridge North Police Station Alamgir Hossain.

The incident occurred at 10:30am and a general diary (GD) has been filed with the concerned station in this regard.

Toll collection at that particular booth was suspended for a while owing to the low pressure of vehicles.
