Unidentified body of a man found under a bridge in Narsingdi

The body of an unidentified man was found inside a sack under a bridge this morning in Monohardi upazila of Narsingdi.

Locals found the body under the Charnarandi bridge in Shukandi union in the morning and informed the police.

Mehedi Hasan, assistant sub-inspector of Monohardi Police Station, said the deceased was around 35 years old and was wearing a lungi and vest.

Police suspect that he may have been killed yesterday and later dumped under the bridge.

Abdul Jabbar, officer-in-charge of Monohardi Police Station, said the body was sent to Narsingdi Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy, and efforts are underway to identify the victim. A case is being processed in connection with the incident.
