Four women receive Jayeeta Award in Narsingdi

Four women have been awarded with the Jayeeta Award for their successes in different fields defying difficulties and challenges.

The awardees are Bilkish Akter (economics), Bina Akter (education and job), Sahida Robi (successful mother) and Kakoli Talukder (social development).

The event was organised marking the "Begum Rokeya Day" and "International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women".

Raipura Women Affairs Office arranged the programme at the Conference Room of Raipura Upazila Parishad around noon today.

Fatema Akter, Raipura Upazila Women Affairs Officer, presided over the programme while executive magistrate (land) Md Shafiqul Islam handed over the crests and certificates as chief guest at the event.
