How to get HSC, equivalent exam results

The results of this year's Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations will be published simultaneously across the country at 10:00am on Thursday (October 16).

Students will be able to access their results both online and through SMS soon after the announcement, according to a notification issued by the Dhaka Education Board.

To get results through SMS, candidates must type:

HSC [space] first three letters of board name [space] roll number [space] year, and send it to 16222.

For example, a candidate under the Dhaka Education Board with roll number 123456 should send: HSC Dha 123456 2025 to 16222.

Students can also check their results online by visiting www.educationboardresults.gov.bd, where they will need to enter their rolls and registration numbers.

Educational institutions can download institution-wise result sheets by entering their EIIN number at www.dhakaeducationboard.gov.bd under the "Result Corner."

Result Re-scrutiny Application

Applications for re-scrutiny of the HSC 2025 results will be accepted online from October 17 to 23 through the official portal https://rescrutiny.eduboardresults.gov.bd.

Applicants must enter their roll and registration numbers, select their education board from the drop-down menu, and click Submit. A valid mobile number must then be provided, where an SMS will be sent once the re-scrutiny results are published.

Students can view their subject-wise results on screen and select one or more subjects for re-scrutiny. The fee is Tk 150 per paper, and for double-paper subjects, both papers must be selected.

Fees can be paid via bKash, Nagad, Sonali Sheba, DBBL Rocket, or Teletalk SIM. After payment, applicants must return to the portal and click Submit to confirm.

However, once the payment is made, applications cannot be cancelled, and no refunds will be issued. The board clarified that no manual applications will be accepted.

This year, the HSC and equivalent examinations were held between June 26 and August 19. The practical exams were held from August 21 to 31. A total of 12,51,111 students took part under 11 education boards across the country.
