Tk 10,476 crore worth of assets of AL, beneficiaries seized by ACC since August
Following the uprising in July-August, 2024 that led to the fall of the Awami League government, the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has seized and frozen assets worth approximately Tk 10,476 crore both domestically and abroad that belonged to the party's leaders, activists, and beneficiary businessmen through court orders.
The information was revealed in a recent report by the ACC's Asset Management Division.

Between August 5 of last year and February 20 of this year, assets worth Tk 10,310 crore 26 lakh 17 thousand 771 were seized domestically, while Tk 165 crore 61 lakh 65 thousand 497 were seized abroad.
In total, assets worth Tk 10,475 crore 87 lakh 83 thousand 268 have been seized.
