Suspected militant hideout: Police raid remote hilly area in Moulvibazar

Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime (CTTC) unit of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) is conducting a raid in a remote hilly area under Kulaura Police Station in Moulivibazar suspecting it to be a militant hideout.

The operation has been named "Operation Hillside", Dhaka Metropolitan Police Deputy Commissioner Faruk Hossain said.

"It is being handled by the CTTC and Swat teams," the DC added.
