Gulshan fire: 18-member medical board for 3 injured
An 18-members medical board has been formed for the treatment of three people who were injured during last night's fire in a residential building in Gulshan.
They are being treated at the Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery.
Prof Rayhana Awwal, director of the institute, is leading the team that includes doctors from Dhaka Medical College Hospital's neuroscience, orthopedic, general surgery and thoracic surgery departments.
The three patients admitted at the burn institute are: Shama Rahman Sinha, 37, wife of Fahim Sinha, director of ACME Group and Bangladesh Cricket Board director; Md Musa Sikder, 33, a driver; and Rawshan Ali, 30, an office assistant.
Two persons were killed and several dozen were injured during the fire.
