A fire that broke out in a law chamber located on the second floor of a four-story building in Dhaka's Purana Paltan area this morning, has been brought under control.

Five units of firefighters brought the blaze under control at around 10:30am, said Talha Bin Jasim, an official from the Fire Service's Media Wing.

The fire broke out at around 9:17am at a building named  Manikganj House. The cause of the fire is yet to be determined.

As of now, there was no report of casualties.
