AAAB brings Google AI advertising insights to agency leaders

The Advertising Agencies Association of Bangladesh (AAAB), in partnership with Aleph, hosted an exclusive in-person session on AI-powered advertising with Google for senior leaders of member agencies in Dhaka on Saturday.

The closed-door session was held at Aleph’s office in Gulshan and was designed for agency owners, chief executives and senior decision-makers. A total of 22 advertising agencies took part, representing both established full-service firms and digitally focused agencies.

The session was led by Tara Yoon, Google Ads Business Lead for Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. She shared insights on how artificial intelligence is reshaping advertising through smarter media planning, performance optimisation, creative effectiveness and measurement within Google’s advertising ecosystem. She also outlined how agencies can use AI-powered tools to improve efficiency, scalability and measurable business outcomes in a competitive market.

Representing AAAB at the session were General Secretary Syed Ahsanul Apon and Joint Secretary M A Maruf. Aleph was represented by Ehsanul Hoque, Country Director for Bangladesh and Sri Lanka, and Ahsanur Rahman, Partner Director for Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.

The discussion included perspectives on the evolving advertising landscape and concluded with an interactive question-and-answer segment, allowing participants to engage directly with the speaker.

AAAB said the initiative is part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen industry capability, leadership preparedness and future-focused knowledge within Bangladesh’s advertising sector.
