BNP has expelled its National Executive Committee member Manjurul Ahsan Munshi.

Citing activities and speeches violating party regulations and ideology, the party has relieved him from all positions.

The information was disclosed today in a press release signed by Ruhul Kabir Rizvi.

Earlier, a video went viral in social media where Manjurul was heard threatening voters while asking them to vote for the BNP-nominated alliance candidate in Cumilla-4 (Debidwar).

“If you vote for someone else, I will spare none of you. I will burn every house to the ground,” he was heard saying in the video clip.

NCP-nominated 11-party alliance candidate in that constituency, Hasnat Abdullah, later shared that post on his verified Facebook page.
