Agricultural workers sun-drying paddy at the Hatchery intersection in Khulna’s Dumuria upazila. Men and women from nearby areas work here daily during the Aman harvest, earning Tk 5 per maund plus 300 grams each of rice and khud for parboiling, drying and breaking paddy.
