Farmer Abul Kalam won’t be taking his harvest of radish to the local market. He said there was no point in selling the produce in the local market since he has to pay Tk 150 fortransporting two baskets of the vegetable that he has to sell for just Tk 200, leavinghim no scope for recovering the cost of agricultural inputs and labour.
