Harvesting of Aman has already started in Gaibandha as the paddy has begun ripening in many northern districts. Even though paddy fields across the country have suffered from severe floods this year, the situation in the northern regions was slightly better, giving the farmers there the opportunity to grow and harvest healthy paddy.
