Zurhem, the first Bangladeshi fashion house, is set to debut its Fall/Winter collection in Paris. This event marks Zurhem's presence as a part of Paris Fashion Week 2025. Mehruz Munir, the creative director of the brand, is ready to reveal his exquisite line-up on 8 March, at the capital of the fashion world.
"Our collection is a statement that Bangladeshi fashion can be luxurious and bold," comments Munir, the acclaimed fashion designer. With his leadership, Zurhem started its journey in 2015 as a high-end label known for its menswear collection.

Titled "Solaris," the new line-up features 15 menswear and five womenswear ensembles that reflect the various phases of the day — from dawn to dusk. The transitions are captured through thoughtful colour curation and intricate craftsmanship.
Pearl adornments on white fabric reflect the serenity of dawn, as it marks the opening of the collection. Golden beads and shimmering stones are gradually introduced to represent the "golden hour" of the day.
As the show progresses, green splashes on gold appear to suggest lush landscapes of the Earth. Finally, the collection concludes with deep black, which is adorned with dark beadwork and embellishments, representing the greatness of the night sky.
The line-up features daring menswear pieces like corseted ensembles and floor-length trains, pushing the boundaries of men's fashion. Suit jackets, tuxedos, overcoats, and parkas are also included in the wardrobe.
"We have reimagined Bangladeshi cropped jackets and 'bandhgalas' for the European market," explains Munir, "Structured tailoring and layering add a contemporary flair to the collection."
For womenswear, the designer delivers five extravagant couture gowns. Grand trains, sculptural shapes, and exciting silhouettes create a sense of grandeur. Each piece is innovative in technique — which adds a lot of drama and sophistication.
"Circular motifs are a defining element of this collection — aligning with the theme of Solaris," he describes. Constellations and celestial imagery like the sun, moon and planets a draw cosmic scene with intricate artisanship. "All the embellishments are meticulously handcrafted," shares Munir.
Each piece of Solaris is a nod to the quality and opulence of haute couture. This exclusive runway show will take place at the Chapelle Sainte-Jeanne-d'Arc. The event is organised by The House of Vendôme — a Parisian fashion house that offers a platform to empower up-and-coming fashion designers.
No doubt, Zurhem's debut in Paris will not only mark a milestone for the brand, but will also write a new chapter for Bangladeshi fashion on the global stage.
