2 die of dengue, 762 hospitalised in a day

At least two dengue patients died while 762 others were hospitalised in 24 hours till 8:00am today.

According to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), among the deaths, one each was reported from Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) and Khulna division.

With the new deaths and cases, the total number of deaths rose to 255, while total cases rose to 62,367.

Currently, 2,670 patients are undergoing treatment at different hospitals across the country, 1,709 of which are from outside Dhaka.
