More rain likely

Heavy to very heavy rainfall is likely to occur in places across the country, including Dhaka, due to the influence of a well-marked low over the Westcentral Bay and adjoining areas during the next 72 hours from 9:00am yesterday.

"Heavy to very heavy rainfall is likely to occur at places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh, Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions during the next 72 hours," said a Met office warning.

Due to the heavy to very heavy rainfall, landslides may occur in the hilly regions of Chattogram division. Temporary waterlogging may also occur in parts of Dhaka and Chattogram metropolitan areas.
