In a recent visit to Kolkata, the two worlds collided as Dhallywood actor Nirab Hossain met up with Tollywood diva Rituparna Sengupta.  The "Casino" famed actor was welcomed with warmth into the actress's home amid the Saraswati Puja celebrations.

The two actors are working together in "Sporsho", co-directed by Anonno Mamun and Abhinondon Dutt. The film is being produced by Bangladesh's Action Cut Entertainment, and Kolkata's Roll Camera Action. The film also features popular Bangladeshi model Jessia Islam.

Nirab and Rituparna appeared on a video recently, to speak about their joint-venture film. In the video, the actors updated their fans about the upcoming film, where Rituparna called Nirab "Bangladesh's superstar". The actress also added that she finds it hard to decline Bangladeshi films, citing her good relationship with the country.

In a conversation with The Daily Star today, Anonno Mamun informed, "Nearly 40% of the shooting has been finished in Kolkata. We are currently awaiting Rituparna's schedule."

When asked about giving a glimpse into the plot, the director revealed, "It is a touching story about a single mother, it is unlike anything I have done before"

He also added, that the rest of the shooting will commence next month in Dhaka.
