Unreleased South Indian film 'Suriya 42' sells for Rs 100 crore

Actor Suriya is currently working on his upcoming film, alongside director Siva. The movie has been tentatively titled "Suriya 42", and has cast Disha Patani as the female lead.

At present, it has been revealed that 60 percent of the film's shooting is complete and the next schedule of shootings will begin soon. Previously, it had been reported that the movie would be released in March of 2023.

Now, according to the latest reports, producer Dr Jayantilal Gada has just recently acquired the rights for the film in Hindi, for a whopping sum of Rs 100 crore. Apart from the Hindi rights, the production house has also acquired the satellite, digital and theatre distribution rights for the film's Hindi version.
