'The Nun 2' trailer unleashes terrifying return of Valak

Warner Bros. sent shivers down the spines of horror fans worldwide as they released the much-anticipated trailer for "The Nun 2" yesterday. Serving as a direct sequel to the 2018 film, "The Nun", this upcoming installment marks the ninth entry in The Conjuring Universe. Once again, the demonic presence of Valak takes centre stage, promising another chilling and hair-raising experience for audiences.

Warner Bros unveiled the trailer in multiple languages, providing a glimpse into the sinister world of "The Nun 2". Set in 1956 France, the storyline follows the murder of a priest and the ensuing hostility that engulfs the region. Sister Irene, portrayed by Taissa Farmiga, finds herself confronted by the demon nun Valak once more, as the evil entity's terror spreads.

Fans of the horror genre immediately expressed their excitement and anticipation for the forthcoming film. 

The Conjuring Universe has solidified its status as the highest-grossing horror franchise in history, accumulating over USD 2 billion worldwide. Notably, The Nun stands as the franchise's top-earning film, grossing an impressive USD 366 million globally. With four titles surpassing the USD 300 million mark worldwide and all seven films grossing over USD 200 million, The Conjuring Universe has captivated audiences with its spine-chilling tales.
