Tamannaah addresses fans’ criticism of debut web-series, ‘Jee Karda’
Indian actor Tamannaah recently faced a lot of criticism from fans for the 'intimate scenes' in her debut web-series, "Jee Karda", which was released on Amazon Prime. The actor is seen in multiple 'intimate scenes' with her co-star, Suhail Nayyar.
In her latest interview, Tamannaah addressed her thoughts on the scenes and the audience's criticism. She shared, "These scenes are instrumental in order to tell the journeys of these characters. So, in no capacity, are they made to grab eyeballs. When you show a relationship drama, this is an important aspect of it, because it is the truth. Whether people like it or not, this is how it is. Suhail was someone who really made me feel comfortable. There was no resistance from Suhail or me to get into our characters, Lavanya and Rishabh."
The "Baahubali" star further added, "I think we both understood that these characters know each other in a way that nobody else would. So, the physicality between us, even in a non-intimate scene, was almost like we were one unit."
Directed by Arunima Sharma, the series stars Tamannaah Bhatia, Aashim Gulati, Suhail Nayyar, Anya Singh and Samvedna Suwalka, amongst others. The series was released on June 15.
