Shakib Khan to star as ‘rockstar’ in new romantic film

Dhallywood superstar Shakib Khan is currently occupied with the shooting of his upcoming action film "Soldier". Alongside this project, it has been confirmed that he has signed another major film with Sun Music and Motion Pictures, slated for release during Eid-ul-Azha 2026.

After months of speculation, details about the new film have finally been revealed. As previously hinted by Shakib, he will return to a romantic storyline, marking his comeback to the genre in the upcoming Eid-ul-Azha release.

While several names were rumoured to direct the film, it has now been officially confirmed that Azman Rusho, a well-known advertising director, will make his feature film debut with this project. Rusho, widely recognised for his creative work in commercials, has already signed on as the director for this big-budget production.

The female lead opposite Shakib is yet to be finalised, though the film is expected to feature several fresh faces. Following the completion of his film "Prince", Shakib will begin shooting for this romantic drama. Although the story has been finalised, the title of the film remains under wraps.
