'Pushpa 2: The Rule' release date revealed
Film enthusiasts are counting the days for the much-anticipated sequel, "Pushpa 2: The Rule", starring Telugu sensation Allu Arjun. The excitement reached a new high on Monday evening as Mythri Moviemakers, the film's producers, unveiled the official release date.
Although Allu Arjun's complete appearance is yet to be unveiled, the teaser poster was released recently, featuring his hand adorned with rings and bracelets, accompanied by ominous bloodstains.
For all latest news, follow The Daily Star's Google News channel. In 2021, "Pushpa 1: The Rise" emerged as a massive blockbuster, catapulting Allu Arjun to pan-India stardom. His exceptional performance earned him the prestigious National Film Award for Best Actor last month.
Fans can also anticipate the return of acclaimed composer Devi Sri Prasad, the recipient of the National Award for Best Music Direction (songs) for "Pushpa: The Rise". The first look of Allu Arjun from the upcoming film was revealed earlier this year on his 41st birthday.
The project has been produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar of Mythri Movie Makers, in collaboration with Sukumar Writings. The film welcomes back Rashmika Mandanna as Srivalli and Faasil as Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat.
The film also feature a stellar supporting cast, including Dhanunjay, Rao Ramesh, Sunil, Anasuya Bharadwaj, and Ajay Ghosh, amongst others.
Recently, Allu Arjun released an exclusive glimpse behind the scenes of "Pushpa: The Rule" in a special Instagram video feature. Instagram shared this video, emphasising the immense support and motivation he receives from his devoted fans in India and worldwide, who eagerly gather at Hyderabad's Ramoji Film City, one of the world's largest film studio complexes, to catch a glimpse of their favourite star before filming.
Fans can mark their calendars for August 15, 2024, when Pushpa Raj returns to the big screen.
