The Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna starrer "Pushpa 2" is making history with its unprecedented box office performance.

Since its release, the film has consistently drawn massive audiences, and on its 10th day (the second Saturday), it experienced an impressive 71% growth in collections. This surge follows Allu Arjun's brief arrest on Friday, with his release taking place on Saturday morning.

The premiere of the movie on December 4 at Sandhya Theatre resulted in a tragic stampede, leading to the death of a 39-year-old woman and injuries to her son.

Following an FIR filed by the victim's husband, Allu Arjun was arrested. However, this incident seems to have had little impact on the film's box office performance.

On the contrary, the movie has seen a significant boost in earnings. On its 10th day, the second Saturday, it collected Rs 62.3 crore, with Rs 46 crore coming from the Hindi version and Rs 13 crore from the Telugu version.

On Friday, the film earned Rs 36.5 crore, but the growth since then has been extraordinary. According to Sacnilk, the movie's total collection in India across all languages has reached Rs 824 crore. Surprisingly, Rs 498 crore of this total comes from the Hindi version, surpassing the Telugu earnings—an achievement that seemed unimaginable. The film has also outperformed the lifetime collections of "Jawan" and even "RRR" across all languages.

The film's Sunday earnings could surpass Saturday's numbers, boosted by the holiday and the ongoing buzz surrounding it.
