Pori Moni has been away from the silver screen for a while, making headlines for reasons beyond cinema. This time, her latest film "Kagojer Bou" premiered on the Bongo app yesterday (February 13). This release marks her long-awaited return, directly on an OTT platform instead of theatres.

Directed by Chayanika Chowdhury, the film features Pori Moni opposite DA Tayeb, with Mamunur Hassan Emon in a key role. Veteran artistes Abul Hayat and Dilara Zaman also appear in significant characters.

The story follows Titli, a spirited young woman from an affluent family, who becomes entangled in love and friendship. 

"Kagojer Bou" portrays themes of trust, love, and the struggle between personal desires and familial expectations. The complex dynamics between Titli, Neel, and Arko are expected to resonate with audiences across different age groups, according to the makers.
