‘Pathaan’ smashed ‘KGF-2’ record prior to release
At present, Bollywood is eagerly waiting for the release of Shah Rukh Khan starrer "Pathaan". With advance booking for "Pathaan" underway, fans cannot seem to contain their excitement.
The advance ticket sales of "Pathaan" has already broken records, previously held by "KGF-2" abroad. "Pathaan" has already earned a whopping Rs 1 crore 32 lakh in Germany while "'KGF 2" made only Rs 1 million 20 lakh through ticket sales.
"Pathaan" is also doing great business in Australia, the US, and the United Arab Emirates. More than 3,500 advance tickets have been sold in Dubai. In other words, "Pathan" has already done business worth more than USD 50,000 within Dubai. Additionally, more than 3,000 advance tickets have been sold in Australia as well.
Earlier on, the Delhi High Court had ordered "Pathaan's" producers to offer Hindi subtitles, closed captions, and audio descriptions for the film's OTT release, for the benefit of persons with visual and hearing impairments.
Recently, the "Pathaan" team unveiled the movie's official trailer to the public. In the two-and-a-half-minute clip, Shah Rukh and Deepika Padukone play agents defending India, and John Abraham plays a dangerous enemy plotting a significant attack in India.
Directed by Siddharth Anand, the film is expected to hit theaters on January 25.
