Mamunur Rashid’s new tele-fiction coming this Eid-ul-Adha
Noted actor and thespian Mamunur Rashid is all set to appear in a new tele-fiction titled "Ruchir Durbhikkho". Directed by Kachi Khondoker, the new production features Shamima Nazneen, Maimuna Ferdous Momo, and Farhad Limon, amongst others.
Mamunur Rashid will be playing the role of a man deeply intrigued by and immersed in traditional music. His thoughts and persona embody a sense of 'high taste' in culture and traditions. However, his three sons grew up to be complete opposites of their father. They don't think much about traditional music or have 'high standards' of literature. The three sons are interested in Facebook, YouTube, and TikTok.
"Ruchir Durbhikkho" strives to portray a clash between the old traditions and the new. It highlights the degradation of taste and morals that runs rampant in the modern society.
Speaking about the new production, the director stated that taste is not only limited to films, drama or songs, its everywhere. He continued, that people are slowly forgetting their taste and running towards the peak of degradation, yet no one is really opting to change this phenomenon.
The director also added that this degradation of 'morals and taste' is highlighted in the project and hopes that the audience will like his social tele-fiction.
The tele fiction's shoot is already underway and is all set to be released on Channel i, this Eid-ul-Adha.
