Indian adaptation of Sherlock Holmes titled 'Shekhar Home'

Srijit Mukherji will be directing the Indian adaptation of "Sherlock Holmes". Titled "Shekhar Home", the project will star Kay Kay Menon in the role of Sherlock Holmes, while Ranvir Shorey will play Dr John Watson.

Noted singer Usha Uthup will don the role of Mrs Hudson, while "Mirzapur" famed Rasika Dugal will take up the role of Irene Adler—the only woman to have ever outwitted Sherlock Holmes. Koushik Sen will play Mycroft Holmes, Sherlock's brother.

The name of the characters and their personalities in the show will have a Bengali flair, making it distinctive and appealing to Indian audiences.
