"MR-9: Do or Die", directed by Asif Akbar, features an ensamble cast, including, ABM Sumon, Anisur Rahman Milon, and Jessia Islam. The action film debuted in 18 theaters across Bangladesh. It also premiered in a whopping 141 theaters in the United States and 10 in Canada, showing its global appeal.
Meanwhile, "Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan", directed by Farhad Samji, features Pooja Hegde alongside Salman Khan. The film was released in 30 theatres in Bangladesh, including Star Cineplex, Lion Cinema, and Jamuna Blockbuster.
Salman Khan shared his excitement on social media with a picture and the caption, "'Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan' releasing today in Bangladesh. Get ready for a full dose of action, fun, and entertainment!"
The film was originally released in India on April 21 and it's the second Bollywood film to officially release in Bangladesh. Earlier, "Pathaan", starring Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, and John Abraham, premiered in 41 theatres on May 12.
The "Tere Naam" actor visited Bangladesh many years ago and attended several concerts. Ties between Khan's family and Bangladesh strengthened when his clothing brand, Being Human, was launched at the capital's Banani last September.
His brother Sohail Khan attended the launch, and they even opened another store in April this year, with Arbaz Khan's presence.
