First four shows of ‘Prince’ sold out in Narayanganj
With only two days left until Eid-ul-Fitr, pre-sale tickets for Shakib Khan’s highly anticipated Eid release “Prince” have started at CineScope cinema hall in Narayanganj, quickly generating a buzz among fans.
CineScope had scheduled four shows on the release day, which falls on Eid itself. By Wednesday afternoon, almost all tickets for these shows were nearly sold out as soon as the pre-sale began.
Confirming the news, CineScope manager Robi said that “Prince” would be the only film screened at the hall this Eid. “We released the pre-sale tickets this afternoon. Even before Iftar, tickets for almost all four shows were sold out. The response has been very good,” he noted.
“We are hoping it will do very well,” he added, highlighting the overwhelming demand from audiences.
Robi also mentioned that CineScope is a relatively small cinema hall, with only 35 seats per show. “If we had more seats, we could have sold even more tickets,” he said. “Perhaps only about 10 tickets remain for the first day of Eid.”
Produced by Shirin Sultana and directed by Abu Hayat Mahmud, “Prince” features Shakib Khan alongside Tasnia Farin, Jyortimoyee, Dibyendu, Rashed Mamun Apu, Intekhab Dinar, Dr. Ejaz, Sharif Siraj, and a host of other performers. In addition to Bangladesh and Sri Lanka, parts of the film were also shot in India.
