Emmys 2025: ‘Gilmore Girls’ cast, Jenna Ortega and Sydney Sweeney among star presenters

The 77th Primetime Emmy Awards will feature a reunion of the "Gilmore Girls" leads, alongside stars from "Wednesday", "Euphoria", and "Law & Order". The complete list of presenters has been revealed by CBS and the Television Academy.

The ceremony, hosted by comedian Nate Bargatze, will be broadcast live from Los Angeles' Peacock Theatre on Sunday, September 14. Viewers in the United States can watch on CBS, with simultaneous streaming on Paramount+.

One of the major highlights is the appearance of Lauren Graham and Alexis Bledel together, marking the 25th anniversary of "Gilmore Girls". The reunion promises a nostalgic moment for fans of the beloved mother-daughter drama.

Stephen Colbert and Sydney Sweeney among highlights

Stephen Colbert is set to make an appearance only months after CBS cancelled The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. He will be joined by Hollywood's rising star Sydney Sweeney, whose recent projects include "Christy", which premiered at TIFF. Sweeney, best known for "Euphoria" and "The White Lotus", continues to maintain her prominence in the industry.

"Euphoria" will also be represented by Colman Domingo, currently nominated for "Four Seasons", and Eric Dane, who has received widespread support following his ALS diagnosis.

Stars from 'Wednesday' and 'Law & Order'

The presenter lineup extends to performers from Netflix's hit "Wednesday", with Jenna Ortega and Catherine Zeta-Jones set to bring gothic glamour to the event.

NBC's "Law & Order" franchise will also have strong representation. Mariska Hargitay, Christopher Meloni, and Tony Goldwyn are expected to mark the 35th anniversary of the original series, highlighting the franchise's ongoing cultural impact.

Other notable names include Charlie Hunnam and Evan Peters, who will connect Netflix's upcoming "Monster: The Ed Gein Story" with its acclaimed predecessor. The list also features Angela Bassett, Jennifer Coolidge, Tina Fey, Sterling K. Brown, Sofia Vergara, and Jude Law, among others.

With such a diverse roster, the 77th Emmys is shaping up to be both an awards show and a celebration of television's past, present, and future.
