Complaint lodged against Taapsee Pannu for hurting religious sentiments
Hind Rakshak Sangathan, a non-profit oganisation hailing from Indore, India, has recently lodged a police complaint against the noted Bollywood actress Taapsee Pannu for allegedly hurting religious sentiments and spreading vulgarity.
The convener of the organisation, Eklavya Singh Gaur made these allegations against the actress on Monday, due to a video clip and image that the actress had uploaded on her Instagram account on March 14.
According to Gaur, the "Pink" actress had posted a video clip and images featuring herself, wearing a red provocative outfit with a necklace symbolising the Hindu Goddess Lakshmi, which allegedly hurt the religious sentiments of the 'Sanatan Dharma' followers.
The video clip and images were taken from a fashion event titled Lakme Fashion Week, organised by Reliance Jewels on March 12 in Mumbai.
Taapsee Pannu was last seen in Ajay Bahl's film "Blur" last year, and all set to appear before fans in the Shah Rukh Khan starrer film "Dunki" soon.
