Chris Martin's shoutout to Shah Rukh Khan was met with thunderous cheers from fans at the stadium, who lit up the venue by flashing their phone lights in excitement.

For those unaware, Shah Rukh Khan and Chris Martin share a unique bond. During Chris's visit to India in 2016 for the Global Citizen Festival, Shah Rukh hosted an exclusive after-party at his Mumbai residence, Mannat, where the two instantly connected.

During the concert, Chris Martin charmed the audience by addressing them in Hindi, saying,  sabka bohot swagat hai. Mumbai mein aakar humein bohot khushi ho rahi hai" (We welcome you all. We are very happy to be in Mumbai).

The Coldplay frontman is thoroughly enjoying his time in India with his partner, Dakota Johnson. The couple was spotted visiting Shri Babulnath Temple and Siddhivinayak Temple, followed by a late-night stroll through the streets of Mumbai. Dakota also paid a visit to designer Sabyasachi's flagship store, accompanied by friends.

Coldplay's Indian fans are being treated to an exciting tour, with multiple shows lined up. After two back-to-back performances in Mumbai, the band is set to take the stage in the city again on Tuesday, followed by concerts at Ahmedabad's Narendra Modi Stadium on January 25 and 26.
