‘Apolap’ is the tale of love and betrayal: Nipun
Centred on themes of suspicion, conflict and crime, "Apolap" portrays the tale of Arko Hasan, a psychiatrist, who is arrested for the murder of his wife Shumi.
Following repeated police interrogation, Arko has been coerced into confessing to the murder. However, Arko's secretary Barsha believes he is innocent.
In her journey to reveal the truth, Barsha meets up with Arko's childhood friend ADC Saif Hossain, a DB police officer.
This murder mystery unfolds in many layers narrated in the web film "Apolap", directed by Muhammad Ali Munna. Imtiaz Barshon takes on the character of Arko, with Nipun Akter assuming the role of Shumi, Priyontee Urbee portraying Barsha, and Ziaul Roshan as the DB officer in the production.
While talking about her OTT debut, Nipun shared that she played a complex character, who experiences many crises revolving around doubt and betrayal.
