Actor and film producer Abhishek Bachchan is often faced with criticism, with some questioning whether his career was built on merit or privilege. Having parents—the legendary Bollywood star Amitabh Bachchan and the evergreen actress Jaya Bachchan—who are two of the most influential and famous Bollywood stars, overshadowed his talents for a long time. However, over the years, his versatile acting has made netizens realise that he might have been wrongfully criticised all this time.

On March 4, an X user (@Bolly_talkies) made a post stating that Abhishek Bachchan "unnecessarily became the victim of 'nepotism' negativity, but the amount of good films in his filmography is very high." Many people agreed wholeheartedly with this statement, but the biggest show of support came from Big B himself. Amitabh stated, "I feel the same... and not just because I am his father."

Amitabh Bachchan reposted the post about Abhishek's upcoming film "Be Happy", using it as an opportunity to express his thoughts. He then went on to make two more posts praising Abhishek's style, mannerisms, and work.

In one of them, he reposted another post by an X user, where Abhishek is seen stealing the spotlight at the HT India's Most Stylish Awards. Amitabh proudly pointed out how humbly and elegantly his son carried himself despite being truly extraordinary.

He wrote, "Superior… Abhishek… stunning… Abhishek… the walk, the grace, and… THE STYLE… and no fuss, just a normal being… away from the unnecessary display of excitement or attention-seeking."

In another post, Amitabh simply called his son incredible, praising his artful adaptability when it comes to the wide range of roles he has portrayed. With the never-ending issue of scrutiny over nepotism in Bollywood, Abhishek's talent was highlighted by his father's sweet words of encouragement.

Abhishek last appeared in the Shoojit Sircar directorial "I Want to Talk", which hit the big screen last year. His upcoming film, "Be Happy",is set for release next week on Amazon Prime Video.
