Alia Bhatt becomes first female lead In YRF’s Spy Universe

From winning hearts as "Gangubai Kathiawadi" to playing a villain in her Hollywood debut film "Heart of Stone", It seems like there is no stopping for power-packed performer Alia Bhatt as per latest reports she has been roped in for Yash Raj Film's most-popular spy universe. 

Alia will lead the universe's first woman spy film and this will be YRF's 8th biggest intellectual property (IP). 

According to a source close to Pinkvilla, "Alia Bhatt is one of today's biggest crowd pullers, and she will be playing a super-agent in the YRF Spy Universe like Salman Khan, Hrithik Roshan, and Shah Rukh Khan. Aditya Chopra and his team are planning an epic female-led spy picture with Alia Bhatt to push her to the limit."

The source further added, "Alia's inclusion to the Spy Universe indicates that Aditya Chopra is leaving no audience segment out of the equation. She will be playing a spy in an out-and-out action entertainer, and this will be a big surprise for the audience that she appeals to. It's going to be Alia Bhatt like never before.

The untitled film is still in its initial development process and is likely to go into production in 2024.
